ARTIST STATEMENT
At the age of 16 I wrote and illustrated a weekly fashion column for
the Champaign News Gazette. Since then I have been professionally
involved in the arts. Art is something that is more than pen-to-paper
to me;
it is life, a way of communication, and essential to one and all.
I live my life for art and the enlightenment of it to others. It is a
pure joy to watch the artis’s personal experience of growth.
Art is the great equalizer and I, as an artist, relate with great
respect to every single student as another artist. The scope for
understanding
the arts is limitless and therefore my philosophy is: If you count
your years you deny wisdom to youth and joy to age. All are welcome
to grow in the artistic experience.
